DTO Mandate
The Departmental Training Officer (DTO) – is primarily responsible for the operational aspects of departmental training; works in collaboration with the Departmental Management, the Learning and Development Group and the Human Resources Frontline on matters relating to the collection, organisation, analysis and prioritisation of departmental training needs as well as on the production of departmental training plans and reports on training-related issues. The DTO disseminates information on training within the department and may provide personnel with technical guidance in the selection of courses. The DTO meets regularly with L&D to discuss collectively training-related issues and, in particular, to ensure the homogeneous implementation of the learning and development policy in the Organization (based on Learning and Development Policy).
