– ACTIVE BYSTANDER Seminar Exclusively for EN Department: As presented by Anna Suwalska and David Widegren at the ‘EN’s 1st Diversity & Inclusion Seminar’, on-line sessions have been organised for EN. This seminar aims to empower staff to challenge poor behaviours, and bring about cultural change through the reinforcement of messages defining the boundaries of unacceptable behaviour. You will acquire:
- Decision-making techniques to help you overcome fear and self-doubt when faced with a challenging situation
- Assertiveness techniques to give you confidence and tools to speak out, whether you are dealing with the challenge directly or calling for help from others
