News 2022 – Week 26
A few highlights include:
- ARAS: ‘CDD to PLM: Workflows and design validation’ and ‘SmarTeam to PLM’ now in the Learning Hub. Indicate your interest!
- Both ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ ISO GPS courses now available. Indicate your interest!
- ‘Data Privacy by Design and by Default – Module 1’: a pilot session took place on 30th June. Sessions will be opened for enrolment in Autumn.
Note: Module 2 targeting software developers is under development. A pilot session will take place in Autumn. - ‘Selecting the Right Person for CERN’: more sessions added in August and September. This course is mandatory for members of selection boards for Staff positions, for Limited Duration or Indefinite Contract.
- Knowledge Transfer courses:
- ‘Finding happiness in patent databases’: a session will be added for Autumn.
- ‘Introduction to Knowledge Transfer Tools’: this course will be hidden in the Learning Hub. A new version will be ready for 2023.

Special customized training for Board Members of Joint Advisory Appeals Board (JAAB) and Joint Advisory Disciplinary Board (JADB):
- 2 modules, ½ day each. Sessions will be delivered Online (Zoom) in September/October by external trainers.
- Module 1 common for all board members, Module 2 specific for each board: JAAB and JADB.
- No public enrolment. Board members have been invited by HR-LD.
- Training paid from central budget, 0 CHF in Learning Hub.
