News 2020 – Week 40

CAS is organizing a “Mini-CAS” course on Mechanical and Materials Engineering for Accelerators entirely based on video presentations (Indico: https://indico.cern.ch/event/958382).

The remote participation in the lectures is by invitation only. For this, a registration (without any fees) is mandatory: https://indico.cern.ch/event/958382/registration/64780/; registration deadline is October 30th 2020.

Only registered students will receive the video link to connect to all courses.

Training key highlights In October include:

• Udemy for CERN: 50 more licenses available (valid until 31st March 2021)
• Launch of an app-based resource: Resilience: assess, learn and track your resilience
• MALT Project – LibreOffice: FREE sessions on 5-13 November 2020. Registration by 29th October
• Language courses remain virtual until end of March 2021.
