The service provides the support for desktop computers and the assistance to the management of computing equipment in the EN Department.
The EN Department will make full use of the support provided by the IT Department; namely, PC acquisition or repair, Windows Desktop (NICE), Mac hardware and software support, mail services, printer support. The desktop support in the EN Department complements or augments the IT general desktop services by offering the services described below.

  • Management of the EN computing equipment including placement of orders for the purchase of PCs, MACs, monitors and accessories.

  • Configuration and installation of new desktop PCs.

  • Repairs and troubleshooting on computer hardware (except Apple products).

  • Lifecycle follow-up of EN computing equipment (move, change of responsible, obsolescence).

  • Training to EN Department end-users.
